Pharmacovigilance
The Italian National Pharmacovigilance Network (Rete Nazionale di Farmacovigilanza, RNF) is responsible for the collection, processing and analysis of reports of suspected adverse drug reactions (ADR), as well as the distribution of drug safety information released by the AIFA.
On receiving a new report or report follow-up, the system automatically sends an alert to the relevant Region and to the Pharmaceutical Companies which own the drugs concerned, informing them that the National Pharmacovigilance Network has received a new notification.
A suspected adverse reaction may be reported by writing to our dedicated address, farmacovigilanza@farmavox.com, or using the form on the AIFA website at www.agenziafarmaco.gov.it/it/content/modalità-di-segnalazione-delle-sospette-reazioni-avverse-ai-medicinali.
